These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the TutCart platform and services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the TutCart platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our services.
Important Notice
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement. Please read them carefully before using our platform.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
- "Platform"
- refers to the TutCart website, mobile applications, and all related services.
- "User"
- refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including Students, Tutors, and Institutions.
- "Tutor"
- refers to individuals who provide educational services through the Platform.
- "Student"
- refers to individuals who book and receive educational services through the Platform.
- "Institution"
- refers to educational organizations that use the Platform for their operations.
3. Eligibility and Registration
3.1 Age Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account as a Tutor
- Students under 18 must have parental consent to use the Platform
- Institutions must be legally established entities
3.2 Account Registration
To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Platform Use
4.1 User Accounts
Each User is responsible for maintaining the security of their account and password. TutCart cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
4.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Uploading malicious software or code
- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other Users
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
- Attempting to circumvent payment systems
5. Tutoring Services
TutCart provides a platform that connects Students with Tutors. We do not directly provide tutoring services but facilitate the connection between parties.
5.1 Booking and Cancellation
Bookings are subject to Tutor availability and confirmation. Cancellation policies vary by Tutor and are clearly displayed before booking confirmation.
5.2 Payments and Refunds
All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. Refund policies are detailed in our separate Refund Policy document.
